Udawalawe National Park is a national park in Sri Lanka that borders the provinces of Uva and Sabaragamuwa. With the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir, a sanctuary for wild animals was created. The park covers 32,315 hectares, which includes the reservoir, which contains microhabitats such as marshes, the Walawe River and its tributaries, woods, and open grasslands.
